It has been two decades of mayhem, chaos and bloodletting in Somalia. A child born at the onset of the Somali crisis is now twenty one. Somalia has still a long way to go: the Al Shabaab are defeated, but they are not yet fully eliminated, and they still have the capacity to kill and to maim.



The worst thing is that when your partner wants not to divorce even though you technically divorced and he or she pretends to look a couple living under one roof, now that is the case of Somaliland and Somalia.

For those of us who understand international relations, politics and power play, we can’t say it is only about business, when Israel’s name is related to Ethiopia’s electric power sector as we read it on the local weekly Capital newspaper this week.
