The company is registered by the Ethiopian Ministry of Trade and Industry registration number 1411/2002 and the Ethiopia Broadcasting Authority registration number 135/02 to publish Daily English Newspaper, New Business Ethiopia.
NewBusinessEthiopia.com is the online version of this upcoming strong private daily newspaper. Our goal is to inform each and every person having some interest in Ethiopia by providing daily original news prepared by our well-experienced journalists.

Andualem Sisay
He is Co-founder and CEO of New Business Media and Communications PLC and Deputy-Editor-In-Chief of New Business Ethiopia. Andualem studied Journalism and took different media courses both local and broad. Specialized in Business reporting, He has been practicing journalism for several years on various media -online and newspapers such as, Capital news paper, www.africanews.com, Addis Admass newspaper, Guardian… He also owns blogs such as: www.ethiopianforum.ning.com and www.businessinethiopia.ning.com
Mekuria Mekasha (Assistant Professor) is advisor at New Business Ethiopia. He is currently teaching journalism at Addis Ababa University Faculty of Journalism. He studied journalism and has a profound experience in print journalism and wrote several books. He speaks Amharic, Oromiffa English, Russian and also understands Italian and Tigrigna
Tesfu Telahoun is Editor-in-Chief at New Business Ethiopia. Studied in American school for 12 years, Tesfu’s has been teaching English for over 16 year and he has been in media and communications consultancy for the past six years. He was also editor of Fortune and Capital newspapers.
Mulugeta Gudeta
Mulugeta is Contributor at New Business Ethiopia. He is prolific in writing and he published a total of 11 books in Amharic. Six short story collections and five novels in all Bilingual (French and English) and writing in two languages (Amharic and English).
He used to work as a freelancer for Fortune newspaper. He was also Editor-In-Chief of the weekly Ethiopian English newspaper, Gurdian, and currently he works as a columnist for local newspapers such as the Amharic Economy newspaper.
Tedla Yeneakal
He is Assignment Editor of New Business Ethiopia. Tedla has also taken journalism courses in Ethiopia and in the Netherlands. He has been working as a journalist for local and international business media, such as Fortune newspaper, Capital newspaper, Associated Press.
Argaw Ashine is consultant to New Business Ethiopia and contributor.
He has been working for various media from broadcast to print media. He is now Kenya’s Daily Nation newspaper correspondent in Addis Ababa and also hosts his own radio programs on environment and other social issues. He is also one of the founders of Ethiopian Environmental Journalists Association.
Mikias Makonnen
He is contributor and Consultant to New Business Ethiopia. Studied journalism and political science, Mikias have worked for various media institutions such as Reporter, Capital newspaper, Pan African News Agency (PANA). He is also engaged in communications consultancy.
